Ice Skating.

today, i went ice-skating with my sister. and... i dont think many of my friends know that i ice-skate. cos i never been ice skating with my college or secondary school friends, except -- Daniel Wong, who is a great skater himself...

and the ice-hockey skates above is mine.and the last time i wore it, was like almost 4 freaking years ago! yes...i havent ice skate for about 4 years.

i pick up ice skating when i was 13.both me and my sister really, really love skating.she bought her  hockey skates when she was 14, and about a year later i bought mine. yea..we were still in secondary school, yet somehow we manage to find time to skate, usually on weekday nights.

i can still remember quite clearly who were the other bunch of ice hockey skaters. for about 2 years when we went regularly, the same group were there, and at the same time, newcomers joined the group too (like us)

but, today...once we stepped into the rink (i must admit that i was a bit afraid, since it has been ages since i last skate) i realised that ice hockey skaters now, are much much younger.i never seen them before.and im sure they will be wondering where me and my sister are from. seeing those new ppl, i know that life just goes on

thank God i didnt fall the moment i stepped in.once i was into...the old feeling came. it's like...everything is about ur balance.and until that time, i realised how much i missed that feeling.

later when they were resurfacing the ice, we met this woman -- Alice . Amazing woman. she's a figure skater, and when i 1st glance at her...i thought she's in her mid 50s...but...she's actually already 70! yet she's still in the ice rink, skating as though age and time never take place, and  few years back, she suffered injuries on her leg and wrist, undergo operation...though she can't coach anymore, she still continue skate. she said..."once u have the balance and u can skate, u'll never not know how to skate, though u stop for years..."
i was really impressed. i hope when i'm 70, i'll have the same determination as her.

ok, the bad thing that happened to me today (despite me feeling so energetic and feeling nostalgic)  *sigh* sth horrible happened to my left toe.

the main thing is not my beautiful nail art, but the saggy thing at the side of my toe. see?! shiiiiit. it's some "sui pao" thing. UGHHHHH!!
