1st Week in France.

i reached Charles de Gaulle Airport at 630am last saturday. the flight was long n tiring..there as this baby that cried every 2 hours, so it was a bit irritating. whenever i manage to fall asleep, i was woken up by the baby's cry. well...then i met up with my host sis-Axelle and we leave my luggage at her apartment n went to her university, she was working that day, so i had a walk around her uni. there are many shops along the streets there n most of them sell shoes. there are shoes everywhere! the streets there are just so different from malaysia. back in kl if u wan to do a good shopping, u'll head to the mall like Midvalley or 1U, but in Paris is different. you can get good stuff by just walking along this street.

after lunch with axelle, i met up with Quentin n Yi Lun at the Cathedrale of Notre Dame. that church is huge! HUGE!! the ceiling is so high up. it's just beautiful. no words can be used to described it. unfortunately, that day is was raining, n both of them dont want to line up outside to get to the tower.*wasted*

my 1st day was a long n tiring day. i didnt have any sleep for more than 30 hours, but after a good night sleep..i felt refreshed the next day n ready for more of Paris.

the next day, Axelle brought me to the Moulin Rouge, there is this street where Moulin Rouge was located...along that street, all the shops there are sex shops. axelle told me that some shops offer i think 4 or 5 euros for a lady to dance for i-cant-remember-how-long in front of u..those kinda thing... then we climbed many many stairs, then we reached the top of the hill (at Montmarte) and there is another church there called Sacré-coeur. it's another huge church, the church is facing towards an amazing view of Paris. other than that, there is this group of street singers, n there are really good. what made them even more special is that they manage to get the audience to come in front to sing with them. this is really sth that i never seen before and im amazed by that!

at night, Axelle brought me to see the lights of Paris. then i finally know, why Paris is called the City of Lights. the lights they have along their streets, are just spectacular. there is one street where they have sth that look very similar to chandeliers, white in colour..hanging in the air. then there are a few shopping malls; that had many small bulbs that are blinking all the way. the windows of the mall, had different type of Christmas decoration that are controlled by machine..so it had different music with different 'scene' on it. i always thought that christmas decorations in KL like in MV or 1U are beautiful..but here it's just spectacular. it's beyond what i would imagine.

the very next day, Axelle has class, so i went to the Museum of Louvre on my own. i was really excited to go there, this is because after watching the movie "The Da Vincci Code". seeing the Pyramid in the movie, made me really really excoted to see it! once i reached the Louvre, i went outside to see the Pyramid. it's beautiful. im not very good in words, so it's really hard for me to describe it. then i went back into the museum to start my "tour" the museum is huge..huge.. it took me 7 hours and im sure that there are definitely some place that i din manage to go. i lost my way several times inside there. i saw the Mona Lisa. but what irritates me is that they used another piece of class to cover the painting, so it's very difficult to get a good photo of it. even without flash. there r just sooo many ppl crowding that particular painting. in the museum..there are many sculpture there from many era, n i like the ones during the Renaissance era. another "thing" that amazed me is that i had the chance to see the Code of Hammurabi. i'd learnt it in form4 sejarah class. i'll be roud to tell my students that i saw the original code when i come back to teach them.hehee..it was really tiring, walking around the museum. TIRED~

Christmas Gift.

yesterday evening, i received an early christmas present from my best friend-wendy. since i wont be seeing her till next month. she told me to open it at home, so by the time i reached home; i straight away open it. she used a white A4 paper and wrap it. there are about 2 layers, then there is this heart shapes wrapping paper. i was SO SHOCKED to find out what she wrote on those hearts. written there were many of my fav lecturer's frequently used pharses. some of it were those that he told me before. i just keep smiling all the way, thinking back the times he used those phrases. *sighhh* i know that wendy took a lot of time to fill up those hearts. i think this will be the best-est Christmas gift that i received this year. thanks wendy!!

A Lesson to Learn.

i was talking to wendy today, gushing about the details of someone and getting all excited.then she just gave me one simple advice.don't repeat the same mistake.then i just realised how similar my current situation with sth that happened to me few months back with my fav lecturer.what she said is so true.im trying to draw out a perfect image student in front of her, thus subsequently a slight imperfect view of me will change her perception towards me. and now?im doing almost the same thing, just that it's towards a different person and maybe the admiration now is slightly different as well.but as a whole...no doubt that both situations are the same. then i thought about the whole issue myself, thinking that...i am very stupid. i never learn from mistakes. after realising my mistake, what now?will i changed?i step too deep this time, it's now time to step up.i know i can back away completely now, it's impossible. *sighhh* wendy wendy...good thing u reminded me about it. well, now, i just need to try and learn from my mistake.thus treating it like a lesson to learn.

My 2007 Year

it's already December! the end of 2007...i was looking back at all the photos i took in the whole 2007. then i realised how much my life revolves around my friends. hundreds of photos with them, especially during birthday celebrations, many trips with them..such as perhentian, genting (God knows how many times!), singapore, YE camps...wow! how fast time passes by...before i would realised it, i would be the end of 2008 already! *LOL* well, how i felt about my 2007 as whole. let's just said im happy being the person i am now! i may not be the smartest person in class or the prettiest girl in class, but im satisfied, in fact VERY satisfied with what i achieved, gained and experienced through out 2007.plus 2007 made me realised how much is God's presence, love and miracle in my life. God is GREAT!!!
well, another thing about December for me it my trip to France!!just in few more days i'll be leaving! now im busy packing etc etc. my trip to France really make my WHOLE 2007 almost perfect! i love 2007! im sad to say goodbye...

Another Melaka Trip

well, i reached wendy's place about 9am then we had breakfast at koptiam and met jc there.after breakfast..then we start our journey to Melaka at about 11 something.on our way there, wendy n jc felt that the car is vibrating in a slightly abnormal way when she drove more then 120 kmph, so they think that there is a possibility that the air in the tyre is uneven or sth (im totally ignorant about cars) so we stop at the next petrol station to refil or unfil or watever the air in the tyre.then we continue our journey and saw seremban exit..so thinking that it's still early, we went into seremban exit to get some siew pow! hehee..i bought 9 yesterday and now left 2 only! then we continue our journey to melaka.cant really remember what time we reached, about 1pm..and non of us are hungry so we decieded to walk around the town area.the weather was damm hot yesterday, so we went to have cendol.i ate my all time fav baba durian cendol.
