Fufu's 21st Birthday.
26/03/08 is fufu's 21st birthday. this year...we brought him to many, many places..all thanks to victor.
1st stop:
Klang..to have Bak Kut Teh...this Bak Kut Teh is very special since it's "gan rao" instead of the typical soup one.it's really good! 1st time i had klang bak kut teh.
2nd stop:
initially victor wants to go Tanjung Sepat (i dont know where is that anyway) but since we dunno wat to do there, so seet long suggested Bt Cahaya/ Taman Pertanian as we can cycle there as well. so from klang we drive down to shah alam. the bad news is, we are not very sure how to go there...when we reached shah alam, we saw that there is a tourism centre there! so all of us went down to ask for direction. i think it's kinda funny cos the man there asked us where are we from, as though we're not from KL...
finally, we reached Taman Pertanian Malaysia. our 1st impression...Oh.My...is this some place where they film ghost movie? *laughss* it looks completely deserted.
then we manage to chose our bicycle. just about 5 minutes of cycling...we were already tired! aiks...our arse, arms and legs are aching.well...i mean mine..im not sure about others...
the weather was so bloody hot! well, the fact that we went there at 2pm doesnt help as well. finally when we reached the Rumah 4 Iklim...it's current weather is early spring!!! wow...we felt alive once we step into the so-called Rumah 4 Iklim, and inside was much, much better than we expect. there are many fresh flowers inside n it smell great!
wendy, my, fufu, david, william, JC, victor, seet long.
3rd stop:
Pantai Morib. it took us almost one hour to reach there from shah alam.
me & seet long
sunset view at Pantai Morib.
4th stop:
Dinner at Talipon in Kelana Jaya. all of us were damm exhausted...thanks to cycling in such a hot weather.

Law Of Trust?
Law of Trust?
HUH?! What is this?
I'm so lost now.
Exams are less than 2 months away.
Been telling myself this repeatedly.
Till it's numb.
Yet, I cant seem to study.

No Regrets.
Finally,
I'm letting go of that issue.
As usual;
I thought I'll never get over it
Or that i'll take forever.
Now?
I barely even think about it.anymore.
I know that it's NOT because i never care about the issue before.
But, maybe it's bcos of what had happen and the circumstances,
Made it easier for me to let go.
Without Regrets.

Blogging.
now, there are many many ppl out there who blogged;
just to vent out their
frustration;
anger;
sadness;
happiness;
joy;
disappointed .
to me, it's a very good way to express one's feelings.
lately, i realised that it has another function.
by reading others' blog,
i realised that...
we can even know the writer's hidden personality.
u may know the writer for years;
the writer may portray a rude, harsh, hard person;
yet in his blog;
he seems so soft-spoken and nice;
OR,
even the other way round.

A Cup of Coffee.
People Love Coffee
Because it's coffee.
Coffee is magic...
Like comfort in a cup
But coffee is only part of the whole story.
People come in for a cup,
but they leave with so much
It's a simple thing, really.
People like to feel welcome, invited and involved.
And STARBUCKS gave people that ona daily basis.
To give little moments of humanity, of connection.
To make someone's day just a bit better.
Because that's what life is all about.

The Seventh Day
Today is the 7th Day
Without my so-called "companion"
How much longer can i go on?
Without that "companion"?
The feeling is not too good now.
But there is no turning back now.
As it will only show my weak point.
So I shall stay strong.
Well, ofcourse i'll make some exception;
When the time is here;
For me to find my "companion".

A Beginning.
all of us read the paper,
whether the change this year,
is expected. or came as a surprise,
is not the issue anymore.
what is more important now
is that the change is for the better.
for now,
there are uncertainties
doubts
yet this change
signifies a new dawn to the people.

What Is Epresso?
1) A Brewing Method
Espresso is a rapid method of brewing that uses pressure, not gravity to brew
2) A Blend of Beans
Espresso also refers to a blend of beans specifically formulated for use in espresso machines.
3) A Roast of Colour
Starkbucks Espresso Roast is the lightest of dark roast, Italian Roast being the next darkest and French Roast (my fav!) the darkest of all
4) A Beverage
Refers to the concentrated, flavourful "essence" brewed from the beans. The amount of coffee used is roughly 2/3 the amount used for a single seving of drop coffee, but with far less water.
I LOVE CAFFÈ ESPRESSO!

Discrimination.
a few days ago, while i was reading the paper, i came across this article.not written by the paper's journalist or reporter, but a random reader. she was saying sth about how Malaysians discriminate foreign workers and students. for foreign students, this is especially towards those Nigerians. and in my mind, i felt a bit sad, and i was thinking, one day, if i study abroad, i would be categorised as "foreign students" too, and i wouldnt want myself to be discriminate as such. it's not that im discriminating them before this, but i dun make any attempt to make them feel more welcome, nor i prejudiced them. after reading that article, i was thinking maybe a more positive action from me is better?
well, ofcourse this matter did not stay in my mind for a long time.until yesterday, this article suddenly pop up in my mind. yesterday afternoon, i was waiting for the train. i was sitting on one of their long benches, and beside me there was this woman. the gap between us is neither too big or too small. then later, this Nigerian guy came over, and no one seems to wan to make any move to give him some space, so...flashing back to the article...i scoot over to the other side to give him some space. *BAD MOVE*
he started talking to me.at 1st, he was just being friendly, so i answered his question vaguely.i dont want to appear to be too cold, as i was determined to "make them feel more welcome" unfortunately, this guy seen me in the station several times already, and he wants to be "friends" with me.in my mind i was thinking, i was just being nice not giving him the wrong idea? i was really freaked out that time, since he wants my number, invites me to his church and asking me a bunch of personal questions. today, when i took the train, i would glance left and right, fearing that i might see him again. the problem is, i cant really remember how he looks like, since to me almost all Nigerian guy looks the same.
so, sometimes it's not that we want to discriminate them in general. but personal experience made us to be like that.

Paris Je t'aime (I Love You)
a few days ago,i went midvalley to watch 10 000 BC with my friends, when i was at the cinema, i saw some of those movie poster. there was one that caught my attention, it has a very huge heart shape printed on it.then i saw the title "Paris Je t'aime" then i remembered that when i was in Paris that time, Axelle told me about this movie before.it's a combination of many, many short love stories that took place in Paris. then today, i was in midvalley again with wendy to watch Kung Fu Dunk, and we were suppose to head back to college after the movie.but, we were told later that our class was cancelled.SO...almost immediately i checked the time for Paris Je t'aime and bought the movie ticket. well...i wouldnt said that i like all of their love stories in that movie. but, when i watched it...some of the scenes that took place, was very very familiar.the fact that i went to those places before...made me fee.."wow...i actually been there before!" and...again i realised how much i miss Paris, France.
well, about the short love stories, my favourite one is about this tennage boy. he had 2 friends who always attempt to attract pretty girls attention, he on the other hand is the quite type. one afternoon, whilst his friends were doing their same roution in a park, he noticed a very pretty Muslim girl, sitting opposite of him. though his friends teased her as she is Muslim, he nevertheless felt the need to help her out. he even went to the mosque to find her, since he knew that she will be there. the end of this story is the scene of them attending a concert together and ofcourse, they are happy!
my 2nd favourite is the story of the blind man with a pretty actress. this blind man, one day while walking on the street, he heard a girl screaming, asking for help and to be released. he, being a helpful person, attempted to help her out. it turns out that the girl is just rehearsing a scene for an audition, and realised that she is late! the blind man, who was very familiar with the streets there, told her that he knew a short cut, and he led her to the audition place. the girl was very very shocked and ofcourse, impressed. they started off being just friends...and end up being lovers.
